Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots, a program of the Jane Goodall Institute, is dedicated to inspiring, training and supporting tomorrow's leaders today. It is a powerful, youth-driven, global network of tens of thousands of members in more than 120 countries. Together, youth of all ages are taking action to improve our world through service learning projects that promote care and concern for animals, the environment and the human community. There are more than 500 Roots & Shoots groups active in Canada alone, working on projects to benefit people, animals and the environment in their communities.
